Certified B Corporations are a new kind of business that balances purpose and profit. They are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on their workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment. This is a community of leaders, driving a global movement of people using business as a force for good.
We are proud to be a part of the B Corporation & Benefit Corporation community. It was a 2.5 year journey to get certified and recertified every three years. B Corporation is more than a certification, it is about actualizing the values that we claim. There are many companies using their business to do good in the world. The B Corporation assessment provides the framework to develop systems for consistency, to provide transparency to consumers, and continue to raise the bar as a purpose-driven company.
There are only two other B Corporation hair salons in the US! We want to change that and help other salons become a B Corporation.
